Privacy Policy
Effective date: [SET BEFORE PUBLISHING]
Sentryn is built so this policy can stay short: the app has no account system and no servers, and it does not transmit what you record to us or anyone else.
What the app stores
Your commitments, reflections, settings, and usage history are stored locally on your device, in the app's private storage. We cannot see them. They are removed when you uninstall the app or use "Reset everything" in Settings.
What the app transmits
Nothing. Sentryn does not request network access, uses no analytics or advertising SDKs, and sends no telemetry or crash reports. Spoken reminders are generated by your device's own text-to-speech engine, on the device.
Backups
You can export a backup file of your data. It is created only when you choose, encrypted with a passphrase you set (which we cannot recover), and saved wherever you decide. What happens to that file afterwards is under your control.
Purchases
The subscription is processed by Google Play. Payment details are handled by Google under Google's privacy policy; Sentryn only stores, on your device, whether the purchase is active.
Permissions
Sentryn asks for notification and alarm permissions so reminders can reach you, and (on Android, optionally) an exemption from battery optimisation so they arrive on time. They are used for nothing else.
This website
This site is static. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, request time) for security and operations.
Children
Sentryn is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
