Delete your Sentryn data
Sentryn by Dawnward Labs keeps almost everything on your device. There are two kinds of data, and each is deleted differently.
Data on your device
What it is. Your commitments, reflections, history, and settings.
How to delete.
- Open Sentryn → Settings → "Reset everything", or
- Uninstall Sentryn from your device.
Either one deletes this data immediately and permanently. We never had a copy, so there is nothing else to request.
Note: backup or CSV files you exported yourself are not affected — delete them wherever you saved them.
Subscription data held by our provider
What it is. An anonymous app identifier, basic device information, and your subscription status and purchase history, held by RevenueCat on our behalf.
How to request deletion.
- If you have an active subscription, cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Sentryn data".
- Include your Google Play order ID (starts with "GPA.", found in your Google Play purchase receipt email) so we can find your anonymous record.
We'll confirm and delete the record within 30 days.
What is kept
- Google Play keeps its own records of your purchases under Google's privacy policy; we can't delete those.
- Where the law requires it, we keep transaction records needed for tax and accounting (for example, order ID, amount, and date) for the legally required period, and then delete them.
